Ballet makes me happy.
I heard a rumor she got accepted into the Mariinsky? If this is true, then Yuri Fateev better make room for his new prima ballerina, and not throw her to the side because of her height and knees.
Ballets I would love to see Zhiganshina in would be Giselle, Paquita, and Coppelia. (I swear though, I can’t wait until I see her debut in Giselle.)
Hope what I read of her getting into Mariinsky was true!
She is wonderful! I interviewed her for my ballet fanpage on Facebook and she is a very sweet girl! I hope she will answer soon if I ask her if she got into the Mariinsky! Because some people say that she is still studying at the Vaganova but her Facebook profile says she works at Mariinsky Theatre! I’ll let you know if I get more and clearer information!

One of NYC Ballet’s great ballerinas.
Incredible privilege to be taught by this amazing woman every week. Not only one of the best teachers I’ve ever had, but a truly wonderful, inspiring person.
